SS-2024-3 | SI Scholarship for Global Professionals

On August 25, 2024, the Loi Aint Education Group successfully hosted a virtual webinar on the SI Scholarship for Global Professionals as part of the Scholarship Sharing (SS) initiative under the Lu Nge Loi Aint Project. The event, held on Zoom, attracted a significant number of participants, primarily graduate and undergraduate students from Myanmar eager to learn about opportunities for studying abroad.

The webinar featured a comprehensive presentation and an engaging Q&A session led by the Sweden Alumni Network Myanmar. The guest speakers, who are alumni of various Swedish universities, shared their valuable experiences as recipients of the SI Scholarship and offered practical advice on the application process, eligibility requirements, and the benefits of studying in Sweden. Their firsthand insights provided participants with a clear understanding of the unique opportunities this prestigious scholarship offers to global professionals.

During the Q&A session, students actively engaged with the speakers, asking questions about their personal journeys, the challenges of living and studying in Sweden, and the cultural and academic experiences that shaped their professional growth. The interactive format of the session allowed for a dynamic exchange of ideas, fostering a sense of connection and inspiration among the attendees.

Loi Aint Education Group organized the webinar as part of its commitment to offering free and accessible educational resources and support to students and teachers from Myanmar. Founded in 2022, the group, led by dedicated educators and scholarship recipients, strives to empower Myanmar’s youth through education, aiming to overcome the numerous challenges faced by the country’s educational sector. This event highlighted the group’s mission to provide guidance and support to students in their pursuit of academic and professional success.

The event concluded on a high note, with positive feedback from participants who expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to learn directly from scholarship recipients. The success of this webinar underscores the growing interest among Myanmar students in international education and the importance of initiatives like Scholarship Sharing (SS) in providing the necessary resources and guidance to make such dreams a reality.
